Applied Computer Science, B.S.
These are suggested courses which fulfill some degree requirements for the Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Computer Science. Transfer associate’s degree programs and courses vary among the 23 VCCS colleges. Be sure to consult your community college academic advisor each semester to make sure you are on track to graduate with an A.A. or A.A.& S or A.S. degree.
Students who have taken ENG 111 spring 2024 or prior will receive credit for ENGH 101 (Composition). Students who take ENG 111 after spring 2024 will receive ENGH— (English elective), which does not satisfy the Mason Core.

Grades of A or B must be earned in CSC and MTH for admission to the major. Applicants are advised to complete these courses before applying to Mason.
